    Oklahoma State Capitol Building
Construction of the Oklahoma State Capitol Building began in 1914. The Captiol is a blend of Greek and Roman architecture designed by Solomon Andrew Layton. The exterior of the building is made of Indiana limestone with pink granite, while the interior of the building is made of Alabama and Vermont marble. Flags, statues and original artworks are also held within the building. It is also the only capitol with a working oil well located on the grounds. Tours are available.
