Oklahoma City National Memorial and Memorial Center Museum The Oklahoma City National Memorial stands in remembrance of the 168 people lost during the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building on April 19, 1995. The symbolic outdoor memorial is open 24 hours a day year round. Tours of the grounds are available. The Memorial Center holds hundreds of archives left at the memorial by children and adults, with items ranging from puppets and ethnic crafts to t-shirts and hats. National Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Museum The National Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Museum was created as a memorial to all the pioneers of the west in 1965. The museum houses many exhibits including 'Prosperity Junction' (a large recreation of a western town), the American Rodeo Gallery, American Cowboy Gallery and the Western Entertainment Gallery.
